The Back Of The Napkin

ONLINE BUSINESS TOOLS

HootSuite is a social account management. If you're working with a large amount of online profiles, HootSuite is a great way to handle everything. With built in analytics and support for teams you can get a handle on everything.

Set up a Microsoft Onedrive account and receive 15GB of cloud memory for free. Keep your files accessible from wherever you are. Your files are always backed up. Easily share documents, presentations, pictures, or video files.

MindMeister is an excellent mind mapping and collaboration software. Its sleek design and simple to use interface, MindMeister has been positioned as the number one mind mapping and online collaboration tool available.

SlideShare is the world’s largest community for sharing presentations and other professional content, consisting of more than 15 million uploads from individuals and organizations on topics ranging from technology and business to travel, health, and education. Find and search for what interests you. SlideShares can be embedded into websites and blogs, and are easily shareable on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms and can be viewed publicly and privately. Have an idea, story, research project, presentation, photo collection or expert knowledge on a topic? Upload it and reach a wide audience!

The time consuming part of reading lies mainly in the actual eye movements from word to word and sentence to sentence. Traditional reading simply takes up a lot of physical space. Spritz solves both of these problems. First, your eyes do not have to move from word to word or around the page that you’re reading. In fact, there’s no longer a page – with Spritz you only need 13 total characters to show all of your content. Fast streaming of text is easier and more comfortable for the reader. Spritz’s patent-pending technology can also be integrated into photos, maps, videos, and websites for more effective communication.

Charts, graphs and other data illustration tools play a critical role in creating engaging presentations. Omfoo can help you create almost every type of chart and graph you need to increase the effectiveness of your presentations. You can create highly interactive and animated charts like Pareto, Waterfall, Funnel, Marimekko Pyramid and a few others, and connect them directly with your presentations.

When it comes to presentations, engaging your audience makes all the difference. Do something different: Create animated presentations and videos with PowToon. Instead of hiring a professional animator or purchasing expensive animation software, use PowToon, which offers an affordable and easy-to-use interface with all the animation tools that businesses need to create a wide range of animated content, including website presentations, product demos and how-to videos.

Ever wonder how people make those captivating "whiteboard" videos, where a hand holding a marker sketches out each part of the presentation? The hard way is to actually film an artist physically sketching out each individual slide, edit accordingly and then speed it up to the ideal presentation length. With VideoScribe, choose your images, and VideoScribe will automatically create the whiteboard-style effect with a hand that "draws" them out throughout the presentation — no tech, design skills required.

Webinars, webcasts and other virtual presentations require much more than slides on a screen. A voice-over narration is always helpful. Increase audience engagement by simulating the in-person experience. Zentation lets you produce "high-end" presentations that combine slides and videos to recreate live presentations. It's a self-service platform, so users can create virtual presentations in three steps: upload a video of the presenter, upload the PowerPoint presentation and then sync the two files.

Google+ is a great place for multi-person video chat. Google+ is a competitor to Twitter and Facebook, but one stellar Google+ feature is multi-person video chat.

Evernote makes it easy to remember things big and small from your everyday life using your computer, phone, tablet and the web.

Hemingway App makes your writing bold and clear. Hemingway highlights long, complex sentences and common errors; if you see a yellow highlight, shorten the sentence. If you see a red highlight, your sentence is so dense and complicated. Try editing this sentence to remove the red. Adverbs are helpfully shown in blue. Get rid of them and pick verbs with force instead. You can utilize a shorter word in place of a purple one. Mouse over it for hints. Phrases in green have been marked to show passive voice. Paste in something you're working on and edit away. Click the Write button to compose something new.
